About Us
Steinbrenner FFA is based out of Steinbrenner High School in Lutz, Florida. With a membership of over 100 students, we are one of the largest FFA chapters in Hillsborough County. With several different opportunities, members are able to focus on what interests them and what they are passionate about. From beef cattle to public speaking, horticulture to community service, there is something for everyone!
The Benefits of the FFA
The possibilities are endless in our chapter and students are able to focus on activities that meet their interests!

Supervised Agricultural Experiences
Students are able to have an SAE that is tailored to them- animals, plants, jobs and more! The possibilities are endless and students get to work hand in hand with members of the industry, to further their knowledge and gain valuable experience that can carry them into adulthood.
Career and Leadership Development Events
Prepare Public Speaking, Horse Evaluation, Livestock Evaluation, and Veterinary Assisting are just a few competitive events that members can do! Members spend hours preparing for competitions and developing their own skills, many of which prove to be beneficial past high school.
Community Service
A major component of the FFA is community outreach and helping others in our area. In our motto, its states "Living to Serve" and our members spend countless hours at different events volunteering their time and getting themselves out into the community. We organize an annual beach clean up, usher at the Florida Strawberry Festival and participate in many school events.
Agriculture Advocation
Agriculture is such a vital industry in our country and it is part of our responsibility to spread the message. Members work to promote the agriculture industry and advocate for the industry that keeps food on our plates and clothes on our backs. Members also advocate for funding for our programs to make sure future generations have an abundance of opportunities!
Get Involved- We are so happy you are here!
Want to get involved? That's great news! We are always so excited to have new members who want to pursue their passions in this phenomenal organization. The FFA is a co-curricular club, therefore students must be in an agriculture or veterinary assisting class at Steinbrenner High School. Students then pay their dues, and are able to participate in the endless opportunities of the organization.
